1.       CALL TO ORDER           
President Jim Piché called the meeting to order at 1:45 p.m.

Motion to approve Minutes of 13 Aug. 2007 by Arthur, seconded by Larry Palmer.  Passed.

5. BUSINESS ARISING FROM MINUTES

6.       REPORTS

President:  Jim advised Lanark County Ambulance Service will give a demo on AED at our AGM.    He will call for more Medoc pamphlets; and prepare the financial report for the AGM

 Treasurer:    Larry advised balance in Ing account is $18,347.00

Membership: Larry Palmer advised ‘lost members’ letter was not included with mailing for AGM.  He continues to work on errors in current database.  Outstanding dues payment to National Office needs to be discussed and clarified with Gerry O’Neill.

Newsletter.  Judy will advise of deadlines for next meeting.

PSHCP Liaison: Ed advised he’d had a couple of enquiries, and members were satisfied with info given.  He expressed concern that RCMP do not currently receive assistance (i.e. cutting grass; snow shoveling) if disabled, that Armed Forces staff do.

7.     INTERMISSION – None.

8.       CORRESPONDENCE 

Bulletins will be brought to next meeting.

9.             NEW BUSINESS

a.       OV FSNA AGM:  Approval to spend up to $2000.00 for AGM motioned by Ed; seconded by Len.  Passed.   Positions up for Election confirmed (Jim Piché; Arthur Etkin; Larry Gray; Larry Palmer; Bill Irwin; Judy Buehler; Joe Zarb) – to be handled by Craig McDonald, Regional Director.  Bios for speakers requested: Carol Husband – OSGA, District 9; Shoppers Drug Mart rep.  Gifts and doorprizes were reviewed.  Judy will provide a list of members who have previously volunteered, to confirm whether they’re interested in standing if nominated.

b.       High Speed Network: Jim advised cost is about $1200.  Decision to proceed is on hold.
