Sun Life "Positive Enrollment" Update (April 13 2010)
Sun Life has started to send emails to those who have an on-line Sun Life account, in preparation for the PSHCP "positive enrollment" requirement described in PSHCP Bulletin #23. While it is not necessary to have an online Sun Life account, it could be beneficial for those who have an email account and use the internet. You will be able to access details of past claims, status of current claims, and if you opt for direct deposit of claims, you will receive email notification when a claim is processed.
At this time, Sun Life is asking people who have an account to sign into their account so Sun Life will know the account is active. You can sign in to Sun Life’s Plan Member Services website at www.sunlife.ca and under ‘Sign in to your account’ select "Plan Members", between now and June 10, 2010 to confirm that your access ID and password are still active. If you do not have a Sun Life online account, follow the same instructions, but on the "Sign In" page select "Register now".
